Olympus 4000 Review: Olympus DS4000 Professional Hand Held Digital Voice Recorder. This is a good product and works effectively, BUT whatever you do, do NOT drop it. The battery compartment is on the corner of the bottom of the recorder. The door to this compartment is plastic and VERY FRAGILE!!! The battery is spring loaded and is kept in the compartment by the plastic door.
